HISTORY :

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning of Universitas Islam Indonesia was originally established as Faculty of Civil Engineering on October 12, 1964 with one study program, Civil Engineering. In 1985, the faculty was merged with the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Textile Technology to become Faculty of Engineering. In 1987, the Architecture Program was established followed by the Environmental Engineering Program in 1999. In 1993, the Industrial Technology Program and Textile Technology Program were developed into Faculty of Industrial Technology, while the Faculty of Engineering was transformed into Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning.

Since September 2013, the Civil Engineering Study Program has declared the implementation of an education system that follows the JABEE (Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) criteria in order to obtain an international accreditation from JABEE.
